| The Dream of the Blue Turtles (1985) is het debuutsoloalbum van Sting, waarin hij de pop van The Police vermengt met jazzinvloeden en een virtuoze begeleidingsband. Met saxofoon van Branford Marsalis en nummers als "If You Love Somebody (Set Them Free)", "Russians" en "Fortress Around Your Heart" toont Sting persoonlijke, politieke en melodische songwriting. |
